Michele has the ability to size up a client’s aesthetic, & to not only meet but surpass their expectations. She was extremely tuned in to our sense of style, fully understood our goals in terms of function & space, & always kept budget in mind. Her strong relationships with artisans & contractors guarantees a quality result that is both unique & timeless. She transformed our new house into a stunning home.
As a former television executive of several design shows, I have worked with many design professionals. Michele has a great eye, but she is also a great listener & an excellent communicator. Throughout the process, she was always mindful of my ideas & concerns, & her suggestions were always reflective of that. From beginning to (gorgeous!) end, Michele made sure the process was a collaborative one, & her follow-through on even the smallest details was tremendous. Her professionalism, knowledge & sense of humor made her refreshingly easy to work with.
My living room - A large space which went basically unused for eight years - through Michele’s vision, has become my favorite room in the house. I felt my aesthetic desires & expectations were surpassed, my budget met & the whole project completed efficiently while paying attention to every detail. Michele is professional, has great contacts & contractors, & yet, has an ease & approachability which made her accessible & a pleasure to work with.
It was an absolute pleasure working with Michele. She has a phenomenal sense of space & color, & she makes complex decisions with grace. Her attention to detail & get-it-done approach helped minimize the stress that often goes along with construction projects. All in all, she was able to transform my entry hall, living room, & dining room into a space that's warm, stylish, & highly functional.
Michele’s best skill is listening to her clients. Of course she’s going to look to put her stamp on your project as any great designer does but she starts by gaining a keen understanding of what it is that you want from a project. I love the way Michele keeps a project classic and refined but mixes in modern elements and a bold color here or there.
